Edith Hall was Principal Investigator on the research project Classics and Class in Great Britain and Ireland with Dr Henry Stead.

Edith is Leader of the campaign Advocating Classics Education, based at Durham University, which promotes the teaching of Classical Civilisation and Ancient History in the UK secondary state school sector.
